Samburu

Samburu National Reserve offers a unique and untamed wilderness experience.
Located in Northern Kenya, its rugged terrain, characterised by rocky outcrops, dry riverbeds, and thorny scrub, provides a dramatic setting for wildlife viewing. The reserve is home to a variety of wildlife, including some species rarely found elsewhere in Kenya, such as the Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. Visitors can also spot lions, leopards, elephants, and a rich diversity of birdlife.
The dry season, from June to October, offers the best wildlife viewing opportunities as animals gather around the Ewaso Ng'iro River, the reserve's lifeline.
