Doors Off scenic flights
Moments after departing camp, you’ll experience the crystal-clear water channels meandering their way through lagoons. Journey deep into the lush green floodplains home to an abundance of wildlife in the Okavango region. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site from above. The doors are removed from the helicopter on scenic flights to allow for unrestricted views which offer great photo opportunities (but don't worry - you remain safely strapped in).
Remote Palm Island Champagne Experience
A scenic flight over this unique wetland offers a memorable experience and a new perspective. Rainwater travels from the Angolan highlands before spreading over Kalahari sands to form the world’s largest inland delta. Expect to find an abundance of wildlife roaming about these incredible panoramic vistas.
Halfway through the scenic flight, the pilot will find a deserted palm island where you can enjoy a peaceful break to soak in your surroundings whilst sipping on your chilled champagne. Embrace the unforgettable surroundings and wildlife as you make your way back to camp.
Elephant Havens Experience with return helicopter transfers
Elephant Havens is a non-profit organisation that rescues, and hand-rears orphaned and abandoned baby elephants with the goal of eventually releasing them back into the wild alongside other elephants. This experience includes return helicopter transfers with a scenic flight en route, interaction with orphaned elephants guided by informed and knowledgeable handlers, and a donation towards the organisation.
This scenic flight will offer the perfect finale with picturesque vistas that make up this beautiful wilderness, with the potential for wildlife sightings throughout. Spotting Elephants from the air further has to be the most memorable way to see them.
Makgadikgadi Pans Experience
One of the largest Salt Pans in the world, this dramatic landscape offers incredible scenes over endless horizons. Makgadikgadi is home to the famous Kubu Island which hosts a collection of Baobab Trees formed on a granite island jutting out from this great expanse. From approximately January through to April, tens of thousands of Wildebeest and Zebra can be spotted during their annual migration. From March until June, a sea of Greater Flamingos can be spotted on the southern edge of the pans, painting them in a sea of pink.
